Was up in Rochester this week. In addition to dealing with snow for the first time this season 😉 got a chance to stop at a new bakery for me, Shelly's Sweet Shoppe.
This bakery is located in a converted house northeast of downtown. While located on a well traveled road, you would probably drive right by if you weren't looking for it. A cute little shop run by Shelly herself! Got a chance to talk to her for a few minutes, she told me family members help pitch in during busy times/holidays and she ships products all over the US and even to military overseas.
Sampled a few things and all were pretty good - cinnamon roll (microwave it for ~15 seconds), chocolate chip cookie, maple pecan scone and a peanut butter butterscotch bar. Enjoyed the peanut butter bar the best, it had the basic texture of a rice krispy bar. The brownies looked good also, will have to try that next time. 😋
